Website Analysis

Today’s lecture was about Website Analysis. we saw an example of how to analyse a website and then asked to analyse a website of our own and then present it with our specific group.

I decided to analyse Karen Millen’s Retail Website. Karen Millen is a British Designer that Specialises in Women’s Outerwear & Evening Wear in The United Kingdom, United States and Many More Places. 

Using Karen Millen website to learn about the essential key information on having a website that is effective but yet eye catching.

Navigating the website showed me the things that should be on a website and what stands out on Karen Millen’s website that is different from any other website. 

The Key Points We Had To Look At Was:

  • Design
  • Impact and Identity on The Homepage
  • The Usability and Efficiency of Navigation
  • The Content
  • The Unique Selling Point 
  • Communication to their Client
  • Interaction across Social Media 
  • International Engagement
